Working with faculty, students, families, and senior administration, I supervise the outfitting, scheduling, and deploying of a new, flexible, interdisciplinary innovation center. I built a collaborative environment that widespread access to modern means for diverse learners to invent anything they can dream of.
Creating developmentally appropriate curricula for Lower, Middle, and Upper students, I author lessons and units that range from STEAM technological empowerment to programming-focused peer-to-peer projects to small-scale high-tech business incubation and grass-roots research. To do so, I created a physical space with an integrated floor plan with a wide array of shared Maker Spaces in which students from different classes are encouraged to collaborate, promoting the free flow of ideas, knowledge, and perspectives. I also greatly enjoy collaborating with faculty, leading teams of academic technology coordinators, and designing and teaching ongoing professional development for faculty across divisions, including summer seminars and weekend workshops to promote instructional technology.
I love integrating the arts, computer science, engineering, and robotics into my courses and school-wide cross-department community projects.
